Valorant 11.04 patch notes bring big Chamber & Sage changes before Act 5
Valorant’s 11.04 patch notes are live with some interesting changes for Chamber and Sage ahead of Act 5 taking over. Here’s what you need to know.
The summer of 2025 marks the fifth anniversary of Valorant, and Riot Games have pushed the boat out with some big changes and updates. Already, Riot have dropped a boat load of Agent updates out this summer, as well as fresh cosmetics.

However, the biggest change came in the form of a switch to Unreal Engine 5. That was back inpatch 11.02, with the framerate improving, as well as the speed of downloads.
That was a bit of a touch ahead of Act 5, which will follow the arrival of the 11.04 update. That includes some changes to Chamber and Sage. So, lets get into the patch notes.

Chamber & Sage updates in 11.04
Indeed, the biggest changes in patch 11.04 are to two agents, Chamber and Sage. The French marksman has had the range restriction removed on his Trademark ability.
As for Sage, well, Riot are “leaning into Sage’s identity as a Controller-leaning Sentinel” with some tweaks to her Barrier Orb and Resurrection.

Sage’s wall cast range has increased from 10m to 15m on the barrier, while resurrection range has doubled from 6m to 12m.
On top of that, you can now gift items from the esports store to your friends, and Abyss has been re-added to the competitive and deathmatch map pools.

That means that Icebox has been replaced, however.
