Superman: Release Date, Trailer, Plot Details & Everything We Know
Superman is the first entry in James Gunn’s much anticipated new DCU, and here is everything we know from cast to story and release date.
What The LuthorCorp Base & Action Scene Reveal About James Gunn’s Superman Movie
While time will tell whichSupermancast memberswill be part of this shoot, the latest glimpses do raise some questions about the overall plot. Even though it has been confirmed that Hoult’s Lex will be the antagonist inSuperman, it has yet to be revealed what his master plan is in the reboot. However, the newSupermanset material might be teasing one of the announced heroes.
One thing that may be going on in theSupermanaction set video is a tease of Mister Terrific taking on LuthorCorp goons. The way that the stunt performer in red is moving, it definitely looks like an action move that Michael Holt would make through his T-Spheres, as he swings up in the air. If this truly is meant to be Mister Terrific in action, that might mean a first look at his costume is coming, whether it be from Gunn or from set photos.
It’s also fun to see theSupermanmovie seemingly paying homage to theSmallvilleTV show, as LuthorCorp was exclusively a concept the series tackled before it became LexCorp. SinceSupermanfollows Clark Kent during his early days as the Man of Tomorrow, it makes sense for that to be the case with Hoult’s Lex. Hopefully, it won’t be long until the DC Universe audience gets another look at theSupermanfilm.
