Daisoujou is an optional boss faced during a quest given to you by Sophia inShin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, but this opponent can be hard to beat unless you know their one weakness. Every enemy in the game has certain resistances and vulnerabilities you can exploit to win fights. The ones you can use against Daisoujou are limited, but more than enough to take this boss down.
You can locate Daisoujou in the World of Shadows near the Tennouzu Leyline, but youshould not challenge this boss until you are at a high enough Level. Since this enemy is optional, you’ll have time to recruit demons or findMiman collectibles inSMT 5: Vengeanceto help raise XP to an appropriate amount. Wait until you reach Level 31 or above to consider challenging Daisoujou with your team.

How To Beat Mitama In Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance

How To Defeat Daisoujou (Moves, Stats, Weaknesses)
Bring Fire Damage And Resist Dark Attacks
Theonly weakness Daisoujou has is to Fire damage, making demons like Hua Po and Ameno Uzume great choices for your team. Hua Po has powerful Fire skills like Agni, while Ameno Uzume has some Fire abilities along with healing moves that can support other members of your party. Similar to facing theTrumpeter inSMT 5: Vengeance, you need at least one demon responsible for attacking Daisoujou over and over.

Resist
As you may see, Daisoujou is a fast opponent who relies on Magic and Luck to take down foes, withresistance to every type of ailment your team could inflict. This makes this boss a massive DPS check, where you have todeal as much Fire and Physical damage as possiblequickly to defeat it. Do not bother trying to use Light or Dark elemental attacks to deal damage, as Daisoujou can Block both types.
The newCanon of Vengeanceroute does not change thegameplay ofSMT 5: Vengeance, but it could impact which demons you encounter to help you face Daisoujou later as the story begins to change.
Weak Almighty HP/MP Drain attack to one foe.
Mahama
Weak Light attack to all foes. Chance to instakill when striking weaknesses.
Mamudo
Weak Dark attack to all foes. Chance to instakill when striking weaknesses.
Omagatoki Critical
Magatsuhi Skill- All attacks, including Magic, become critical hits during your party’s turn.
It is best if youdon’t bring any demons who are weak to Light or Darksince Daisoujou has a chance to instantly kill them with one use of Mahama or Mamudo. The debuffs that could be inflicted through Preach need to be countered with one member of your party being used as a dedicated healer throughout the fight. Use your own Omagatoki Critical to deal high burst damage when the time is right.
Demons that resist Light and Dark attacks can make this fight easier, especially if they have Fire attacks at their disposal. As long as you have someone available to purify status conditions, you should be able to deal enough damage to take out Daisoujou fast and beat this boss inShin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance.
