PSVR2 finally getting PC support and it may be sooner than you think
The PSVR2 VR headset is finally getting PC support as Sony has begun testing the feature, and it may be released sooner than you think.
Virtual reality gaming has skyrocketed in popularity over the last few years, with Sony,Meta, andeven Appleleading the pack with their headsets.
Sony’s PSVR2 headset wasconsidered a new era for console VRin our review. However, one feature owners have wanted since the launch of its predecessor is PC support.
The company has revealed that they’re finally testing PC support for the PSVR2, and it may be coming sooner than you think.
Sony confirms PC support for PSVR2 is coming
In a blog poston July 08, 2025, Sony shared various VR games coming to the PSVR2 headset through the PlayStation 5 console and teased some pretty big news in the process.
PC support for the device is currently in testing, and they hope to have it released to the public by the end of 2024.
In the blog, Sony stated: “Also, we’re pleased to share that we are currently testing the ability for PS VR2 players to access additional games on PC to offer even more game variety in addition to the PS VR2 titles available through PS5.
“We hope to make this support available in 2024, so stay tuned for more updates.”
Twitter user Wario64 shared the news and garnered quite a bit of reaction from users around the world.

“Amazing. Have had my PSVR 2 since May 2023 but I really want for greater flexibility by having it work on PC.”
