Rumors of an off-camera kiss spread like wildfire afterMelinda accused Harry of carrying her to the bathroom and kissing her after saying he wanted to impregnate her.Although the act of carrying a barefoot Melinda to the bathroom as a form of protection from the rocks might seem harmless, their flirtation along the way completely betrayed Harry’s relationship with Jessica.
Harry denied that the kiss happened, claiming that Melinda was simply looking to get screen time and deferring to the absence of a witness as proof that he was innocent of the allegations. Even if Harry was telling the truth and the two did not kiss, the cameras did show Melinda sitting on Harry’s lap, which is certainly intimate enough to make Jessica (or anyone, for that matter) feel uncomfortable. If Harry were truly blameless in the event, he likely would not have been so reactive towards Jessica during their confrontation following the boy’s day.
