Mom shocked after waking up to find car covered in layers of mold
A woman was left “shaking” after waking up to find the inside of her car coated in layers of mold for no reason.
Content creator resolutera was on her way to pick up her hungover daughter, when she made the shocking discovery in her MINI.
In aviral clip with over 2.1 million views, she showed white and brown splotches covering the steering wheel, seats, and gearstick of her vehicle. “What the f**k is this?” the woman said in horror. “What has happened to my car?”
The TikToker had bought another car just before Christmas, but she decided to keep the older MINI too. Before she went to pick up her daughter in the old MINI, she went to start the engine to warm the car up.
However, when she went to check on the vehicle, the inside was covered in mold. “And now it looks like that… how does nature even work,” she said. “Do I just throw it in the bin now, do I just get it scrapped?”
TikTokusers in the comments shared what they thought had happened to the car. “It’s just moisture that got trapped, probably from temperatures rising and falling. Had the same thing,” one person said.
“This happened to my daughter’s MINI, when the battery dies the windows drop and the moisture gets in, this can happen in days!” another wrote.
“It’s pretty common with convertibles the seals get worn over time and let in moisture when it rains, take it to a good car cleaner and then a mechanic,” a third added.

“You must have a roof leak. Happens to cars when water gets inside, you can’t get rid of mold spores they inside your heating, vents,” someone else shared.
In afollow-clip, the TikToker said she’s going to get the car interior deep cleaned, and “if it has to go to MINI heaven, that’s where it’s gonna have to go.”
