On March 14, content creator .ilyaugust contributed to the trend with ‘The LeBron That I Used to Know,’ a parody of Gotye’s hit song. The remix humorously highlighted LeBron’s achievements, receiving over 2.8 million views.
Later that day, .ilyaugust shared another remix, this time parodying Tamar Braxton’s ‘Let Me Know,’ with lyrics like, “Did you know that LeBron glazing is more than a hobby?”
Other TikTokers followed suit, producing remixes like‘The Man on the Lakers’ (a parody of Michael Jackson’s ‘Man in the Mirror’) and ‘That’s Bron’ (a nod to ‘That’s Life’). These edits racked up millions of views and quickly became a hallmark of TikTok’s signature chaotic and brainrot humor.
