When Wilson Fisk first resurfaces, Murdock is quick to note that something seems off about his old enemy, and nowGiant-Size Daredevilconfirms that Fisk isn’t in control of his body.

Giant-Size Daredevilconfirms that the old Wilson Fisk’s mind is still active, as he observes everything that the demon is doing with the Kingpin’s body. In the Kingpin’s body,the demon can be seen decimating a gang of goons with his bare hands, leaving behind a bloody mess. In Fisk’s monologue, he makes a point to mention that for years, he hasstruggled to defeat Daredevil, and now, he’s the closest he’ll ever get to defeating Daredevil. It’s just too bad that Daredevil won’t die by his will.

Kingpin Could Finally Defeat Daredevil With The Powers Of Hell

But He’s Not In Control

Kingpin’s words about Daredevil are almost bittersweet, if they weren’t so sinister. Kingpin’s goal for decades has just been to destroy Daredevil, and when he finally comes close, he isn’t even responsible for his actions. Daredevil could die by his hands now,but in this moment, his hands don’t belong to him–they are being controlled by a demon. The realization is as scary of a thought as the wrath of the demon in Kingpin’s body. The unadulterated mayhem which he causes in these pages is far more frightening than the MCU’sKingpinhasdone in Netflix’sDaredevil, which says a lot.
