How To Find The Bloodfiend’s Arm
Bloodfiend Arm’s Location
This weapon is not unique and can be found in several different places on theShadow of the ErdtreeDLC map inElden Ring. It can be dropped from any Bloodfiend enemy wielding the Arm as a weapon. One of the better places to find it is inProspect Town, which is due south of theCliffroad Terminus Site of Grace. There are plenty of enemies here to take down and hope one of them drops it, which they should, but there is a guaranteed place to find it.
One can also be looted from the ground near theTaylew’s Ruined Forge Site of Grace. Within the cliff is a cave near which many Bloodfiend enemies are fighting. You will see agiant version of one near the cavewhere the Bloodfiend’s Arm can be found. You technically could run through this area without fighting, and as the enemies are already fighting each other, that might be easier.

Even without any other stats, this cancause much physical damage. From there, there are many different upgrade paths you may take and use to optimize your Bloodfiend’s Arm for what you most want.

With those stats, you will be doing an impressive amount of damage no matter what path you take. Unlike a lot of the othernew weapons in theShadow of the Erdtree, the Bloodfiend’s Armcan have new Ashes of War equipped, although it will start with the Endure skill equipped. This skill allows you toboost your poise and reduce damagefrom incoming attacks.

This build will not quite have the 28 needed in Strength, requiring you to either 2-hand the weapon or use a Talisman or piece of equipment that gives you bonus strength or allows you to wield a 2-handed weapon with greater ease.
The suggestedTalismans inElden Ringfor this build include theTwo-Handed Sword Talisman,Dagger Talisman, or theCrusade Insignia. Additionally, you will want to equip your flask with the Stonebarb Cracked Tear in order to capitalize on breaking stances. The Shriek of Sorrow Ash of War allows you togive the weapon the Occult affinity without taking away the Bleed potential, and it gives your attacks a power boost.
PWARGaming’s character stats are as follows for using this as a Bonk weapon with lots of bleed potential at level 150:

The goal for his build is toemphasize the Bleed upgrade pathwhile using the massive strength of this weapon to break stances and do a lot of damage at once.
The main drawback of this weapon is that it is quite slow, especially if your Strength stat is not as high, and players mayfind themselves struggling with particularly fast enemies. However, it can still do its job nonetheless if you take precautions. And that is all you need to know about finding and using the Bloodfiend’s Arm in theShadow of the ErdtreeDLC inElden Ring.
