Black Ops 7 set to be the latest CoD release ever
Call of Duty games typicallylaunch in October or November, with BO7’s mid-November date would be the latest yet. Here’s a quick overview of the past few years’ release dates:
So, it’s not wildly outside the norm for a Call of Duty release, but it is the latest we’ve seen yet. When the Season 1 update and Warzone integration drops is another matter, as they typically arrive in November or early December to give the devs time to iron out any major issues before the holiday break.
It would also line up with Xbox’s schedule for the remainder of 2025, with the November slot currently being open followingNinja Gaiden 4’s releaseon October 21 andThe Outer Worlds 2on October 29.
