Cosplay Designs by Jo Jo Cruz (@just_.j0j0) and @outlaw_arkhamknight
A villain-turned-anti-hero,Jason Todd’s Red Hood personahas had a rollercoaster of a ride over the years, with Jason’s initial death by the Joker messing him up in ways he’s still dealing with today. Alternating between costumes that see him wearing a red helmet and leather jacket, an actual red hood, half-mask, and domino mask underneath, a Red Hood Gang pill helmet and superhero cape, a fully armored tactical outfit, as well as a few variations on each,Red Hood is never at a loss for something to wear, with these cosplay designs proving which deserves a proper DCU debut.
Shooting Jo Jo staring directly into the camera with his all-white eyes, red domino mask, tactical suit (with a red bat logo), and leather jacket looking as realistic yet as comic-accurate as possible, Mark also photographs Jo Jo holding one ofJason’s signature guns, nailing the character’s look and feel perfectly. Presenting @outlaw_arkhamknight in all of his Red Hood glory next, Mark snaps @outlaw_arkhamknight dressed in a cut-off red hood that partially obscures his face mask, with @outlaw_arkhamknight’s glowing eyes, more armored but more casual costume design, and crowbar selling this version of Red Hood with style.

Red Hood Cosplays Show Jason Todd With And Without His Iconic Helmet
While it’s uncertain whether Jason Todd — as either Robin or Red Hood — will make his way into the DCU proper, the idea that James Gunn has confirmed to be using more than a few deep-cut DC Comics characters in his upcoming Superman film, like Metamorpho for example, bodes well for Jason’s chances at making his big screen debut sometime soon. When and if he does join the DCU, fans deserve to seeRed Hooddone right in the live-action space, with the cosplay community helping to tide them over with a pair of posts that do this anti-hero justice.
