What you need for ray tracing on PC
Ray tracing isn’t available across the board on PC, even if you’re playing a game with ray tracing support. You need an Nvidia RTX or AMD Radeon RX 6000 or later GPU with thelatest graphics card driver installed.
Although ray tracing is a staple of modern GPUs, that doesn’t make it any less demanding. Nvidia offersDeep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS)for its cards to improve performance. On the other hand, AMD hasFidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), which works with both Nvidia and AMD cards. We recommend turning on either one of those, if they are available if you want to play a game with ray tracing.
You may want to considerDLSS 3 frame generation, orFSR frame generation too, though those technologies are only supported by a handful of games at the time of writing.
