Summary
There’s so much to see and do inCyberpunk 2077’s Night City that players can easily find themselves sinking hundreds of hours into the game and still not discover all it has to offer. As recently pointed out by the game’slead quest designer, Pawel Sasko,Cyberpunk 2077is a game that is designed to be revisited and encourages players to try different lifestyles, build different relationships, and approach situations completely differently, with a variety of ways to build its protagonist V from being a master Netrunner to someone who is better suited charging into situations head-on.
RedditorRandomNightCityViewsis one such player who claims to have playedCyberpunk 2077for approximately 500 hours before figuring out a new approach to one of the game’s side gigs: hunting cyberpsychos.

As shown in the brief clip, instead of taking on a cyberpsycho directly in combat, RandomNightCityViews opted to use stealth, approaching the unhinged and murderous character from behind before choosing to kill them outright in one move.
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 Update Proves V Is Practically Immune To Cyberpsychosis
Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a massive overhaul with the upcoming 2.0 update, but a change to how Cyberware works suggests V is immune to Cyberpsychosis.
V Is Tasked With Hunting 17 Cyberpsychos Across Night City
With The Option To Kill Them Or Capture Them For Research
Early in the game, V receives a job from Regina Jones, a former Media who worked for the World News Service and later for FTF Radio. The job involves several reports of cyberpsycho attacks across the city, andwhile V has the option to simply kill those who pose a danger to those around them through a series of mini-boss fights, Regina requests that they bring in the cyberpsychos non-lethallyso they can investigate the cause of Cyberpsychosis and potentially find a cure.
Cyberpsychosis is initially described in the game as a type of dissociative disorder caused by an overload of cybernetic augmentations to the body. This makes it extremely dangerous and aggressive to regular people whom it regards as weak and inferior. However, these missions with Regina can reveal more sympathetic backstories for some of these cyberpsychos, depending on how players handle them.

RandomNightCityViews' stealth approach essentially negates the main boss battles with the cyberpsychos entirely by taking them down in one swift move and doesn’t require as much planning as other non-lethal strategies where players may have needed to change their loadouts to non-lethal weapons prior to each encounter. Using stealth and choosing a non-lethal takedown is a quick and effective way of appeasing Regina and definitely one that players should consider when dealing with cyber psychos inCyberpunk 2077.
