A Simple Favor 3 could happen – and there’s already a secret storyline
A Simple Favor’s sequel has only just dropped onPrime Video, but thanks tothatending, a third film could easily work. According to Paul Feig, it might actually happen, too.
Where the first movie followed mommy blogger Stephanie (Anna Kendrick) uncovering the murky past of new best friend Emily (Blake Lively), the sequel kicks things up a notch. After being released on appeal, Another Simple Favor reunites the pair in Capri.
For unknown reasons, Emily has invited Stephanie to be her maid of honor, with Stephanie convinced she’s there to be killed. As the ceremony starts, all is not what it seems… and that’s not all Emily’s fault.
In short, the ending ofAnother Simple Favormeans a third film could easily work – and according to the film’s director,A Simple Favor3 could genuinely become real.
A Simple Favor director would “definitely” do threequel
Speaking to Dexerto, Feig explained, “I would definitely do it, because it’s just too much fun working with this cast again.” Not only is Feig up for the challenge, but he already knows the story A Simple Favour 3 would tell. Annoyingly, that’s a total secret for now.
“I know basically what it would be. But that’s all I’m going to say on that for the time being,” he continued.
At the end of Another Simple Favor, we see Emily’s evil triplet Charity take the wrap publicly for the crimes she’s committed, making the world believe Emily is being sent back to prison. Instead, the real Emily stays hidden out in Rome, where Portia (Elena Sofia Ricci) meets her.

Sitting on the edge of the Trevi fountain, Portia says she sympathizes with what Emily has been through, acknowledging that she wasn’t responsible for killing son Dante (Michele Morrone). However, there’s a catch. Portia says she considers Emily family now, and family has to help each other in their time of need.
Portia hands Emily an envelope, claiming she needs “another simple favor.” It’s implied the favor is a hit job to take someone down, but we never see what’s inside the envelope – or even see Emily open it at all.
Alongside the fact Emily is still communicating with Stephanie while she’s in hiding, A Simple Favor 3 is neatly set up. Stephanie has also been tasked with raising Nicky as her own, with Emily claiming he’ll have a better life with her.
As of writing, no official plans for A Simple Favor 3 have been confirmed.
