Summary
While classic comic strips likeGarfield,Peanuts, andCalvin and Hobbeshave dominated the medium for decades, it’s refreshing to see a new comic strip giving the old greats a run for their money: Nathan W. Pyle’sStrange Planet. While technically a webcomic,Strange Planetfollows the classic comic strip style to a tee, and absolutely excels at short-form stories and quick comedic punches, which is exactly how the comic became so popular so quickly.
Even if one doesn’t recognize it by the name alone, everyone with an online presence has seen aStrange Planetcomic or two just by casual scrolling - and that’s because the online community can’t seem to get enough. The series follows blue, genderless, sexless beings on another planet that’s drenched in pink, purple, and blue, as they go through life similar to humans. However, every idiosyncrasy made by the vast majority of humans is explained in a technical manner by these otherworldly beings, which pokes fun at how inherently odd everyday life really is.

With every comic,Strange Planetoffers readers an interesting viewpoint on how truly weird everyday life isfor most people, making it painfully relatable, and utterly hilarious (as shown through the lives of the gender-neutral ‘blue beings’).Nathan W. Pyle’sStrange Planetis an ongoing webcomic, but there’s already a great number of comics out there for everyone to enjoy. Here are15 of the bestStrange Planetcomics so far!
